Help Support Angelina

Miss Angelina is a fun loving beautiful 7 year old who can brighten anyone's day with just a smile. Angelina was born with many issues that include an  occipital encephlocele Arnold Chiari malformation type 2 with her cerebral tonsils wrapped around C4 and C5 and no corpus collosum.  Angelina also struggles with epilepsy ,a seizure disorder and microcepholy. Despite all these issues and 10surgeries (4 brain and 6 ortho) Angelina is growing up to be just the most loving ,caring, smart and beautiful little person.  I have managed all these years to stay home and raise her (with the help of my parents) because only I could care for her the way she needs. Angelina has 8 specialists (nuerosurgery, neurology, Ortho, Gastro, physiatrist, urology, endocrinology and nuero-optology. We see these doctors on an of  average of every 3 months and that's if there is no testing or she isn't sick. If that happens add more trips. ( all of these doctors are located 1 hour or more from us) I'm not the type to ask for anything. We have scrimped and pulled together every penny to make sure that not only Angelina but her big brother Mikey are taken care of. After Angelina began to lose all strength in her legs we checked in with her nuerosurgeon and he scheduled an MRI.  When her doctor read the results we were shocked, her Arnold Chiari was now affecting her. We found out her brain had fallen into her spinal column and in the next few weeks she will need brain surgery and a lengthy hospital stay to fix the problem. The fix to the problem is a metal plate with screws to hold her brain in place.  Her nuerosurgeon taking great care with Angelina he has decided instead of jumping into the plate surgery we would start with the insertion of an ICP sensor and monitor her for a few days. With the data from the sensor the doctors can then map her BIG surgery. Any help you could give would be greatly appreciated.  Extra money for while she is in the hospital , gas money to drive back and forth a new wheelchair for Angelina ( her insurance has denied 4 times over a total of 8 months)an extra little something for Angelina just to make her smile, and maybe some money towards a van for her wheelchair. This came up very unexpectedly and I usually have time to prepare for her surgeries. From my whole heart anything that you help us with would mean the world to us. Angelinas Grandma works so hard to help care for Angelina and things have just gotten to be too much lately. Angelina is my whole world, and all I want in my life is too keep her happy.
