Support DJ & Alina while DJ is hospitalized!

Hey everyone I’m setting up this go fund me account for my friend DJ and his family to help them take care of some expenses that are piling up. As most you know DJ was admitted to TMC Hospital Dec 22, 2020 with his intestinal issues he has been dealing with for years. The hospital decided with the pain he was dealing with and abnormal blood test that they needed to admit him. After a couple of days in the hospital and trying help with his inflammation in his intestines, and knock out any infection. His doctor decided to go ahead and plan a endoscopy and colonoscopy. The endoscopy was performed on the 28th and at that time they decided to push back the colonoscopy because of the swelling in his lower colon. This is where the complications arrived and his esophagus was perforated (in other words “ a hole was caused”. This is very dangerous and can be life threatening. DJ is in critical care at TMC in Denison, Tx and could be out in 1 week or multiple weeks. At this point it’s just about monitoring him. They have to try to make sure there is no infection or it could turn to sepsis. He can not eat or drink anything and is hooked up to a nutrition bag to get his food supply. I’m not asking for everyone to donate tons if money but to simply help my friend and his family. DJ is always willing to help anyone in need and has always been a great person. DJ & Alina have 3 little daughters and a newborn on the way as Alina is 8 months pregnant high risk which she is due Jan 20th. I know DJ and he’s probably trying to work in the hospital because he always wants to make sure everyone is taken care of and probably drives him crazy not being able to do so. The multiple days he’s already missed working and with their regular bills coming up, I’m sure they would appreciate any help from us all. He has health insurance but it expires today the 31st and even with health insurance this will not cover the whole amount. The average is hosiptal is $3,900 per day in which he will more than likely be responsible for a little over $1,000 per day in hospital bills. With him being in the hospital and Alina being 8 months pregnant trying to take care of 3 little girls and herself, I can only assume their stress is through the roof. These 2 have enough on their plate and need to focus on being healthy right now for themselves, their little ones and their newborn coming up. With these hospital bills piling up and neither one of them being able to work, I believe if everyone just helps a little then we can take a lot of stress off them and help out. Thanks everyone!
