Hello, my name is Ryan Mills and I am the President of Sigma Alpha Epsilon at Florida State University, and I am proud to announce that the Florida Beta chapter will have a new home for the upcoming fall! A lease has been signed for a chapter house at 415 College Avenue and renovations are under way. I would like to thank all of the brothers for their support, especially JR Long and Skipper McDonald who worked tirelessly to facilitate this massive deal. We plan on taking occupancy in the newly refurbished chapter house in August 2016, while construction will continue on an enormous parking structure and 64-bedroom complex. However, there is still much work to be done. Throughout this summer we will be raising money for furnishings for the common chapter rooms, to provide an area where brothers, as well as visiting alumni, can relax in comfort.
The funds raised will go directly towards purchasing the following items:
- Couches
- Desks
- Folding Chairs
- Office Chairs
- Executive Table
- Bookshelves
- Trophy case
- Filing Cabinets
- Desks
- Picnic Benches
- Rocking Chairs
- Projectors or Televisions
Any help would, whether monetarily or physically, would be greatly appreciated. Our goal is to keep the inside of the house looking as pristine as the outside as well as help create a place that can be called a home by all brothers for years to come.
