We see headlines in the media every day. Never in a million years does anyone think it will be their family. On Tuesday, it was my family. A beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend was taken from us so suddenly. Christine was so full of life, laughter, and love. She made an impression on everyone she met. She truly loved everyone. Her home and her heart were always full. She would never hesitate to help someone in need, even if that meant she went without. How many people she touched throughout her life is evident in the numerous posts of remembrance and condolences on her Facebook page.

 As we continue to sift through the pieces and attempt to make some sort of sense as to what happened, there are two young adults who are in need of our support. Christine was always so proud of her children and wanted the world for them. Kayla and Shawn Michael were her world and the love she gave them shows through the amazing people they have grown to be. We are asking for your support to help keep some sense of normalcy in their lives. Kayla is about to start her junior year at OSU and Shawn Michael is about to start Delta College in the fall and play football. Donations will be applied towards their college tuitions as well as to living expenses that they will need going forward. All donations will be managed by their Aunt Vicki, Christine’s sister to ensure that all of Kayla and Shawn Michael’s needs will be met going forward.
