Our union brother, and shipmates Scott Weideman passed away suddenly on 23 December. Scott was only 38 years. His parents do not have an actual cause of death yet, but he had complained of coming down with a cold a couple days before. Scott had just gotten off a ship on the 13th, along with myself and a few others. At that point all seemed fine. Scott was always ready to chip on when the hat was passed on the ship whenever a shipmates had an unexpected death or family emergency. I am asking that we do the same for him.
