Larry Dean’s Journey

Donation protected
Larry Dean tested positive for COVID on December 21st after being taken to the hospital early that morning. He was experiencing some symptoms including difficulty breathing, fever, and no appetite. Prior to going to the hospital he showed no desire to do anything, which is very unlike him. He didn’t eat anything for several days. Once he arrived at the hospital around 7AM, they put him on two types of oxygen. Neither of these showed any improvement. He called his wife (Crystal) and said they were going to put a breathing tube in and that he would be fine, and to not worry. Larry has been on a ventilator and has been sedated since December 21st at 11:00AM. During this time he has experienced kidney, potassium, and sugar issues. On December 30th we got a call from the doctor early in the morning and got told we needed to make a decision to either put him on dialysis or not, because his kidneys were failing. As of December 31st with a combination of medications and a new catheter, his kidneys started to improve! With Larry being the main income of the household, it has been difficult. He hasn’t been working since December 14th, and we are unsure how much longer he could be put out. We appreciate anything that anybody can give! Most importantly we need prayers! If you could just pray for us then we would appreciate you more than anything!
