Help Mila Fight Cancer
Donation protected
I never thought that I would have to make one of these. But here I am. My sweet baby girl mila, as most of you know as “Queen Mi” or “Mimi”, has an insulinoma. It’s a type of pancreatic cancer that makes too much insulin, resulting in dangerously low blood sugar. It all started when Mila had a seizure on 12/14/2020, and she has been going downhill fast since then. She would faint after going on walks and stopped eating her favorite food, and she even turned her nose up to treats! Many vet visits later, test after test, we found the nasty, silent killer. Thankfully, so far, there is no evidence of spread, so hopefully she can get this tumor surgically removed. She’s currently on prednisone and eating a special diet to help level out her glucose levels. She has a visit to the oncologist (1/5/21) to find out about surgery and or medical management to help her fight this monster inside her. My baby is only about 8 years old, and still has the will to live. She has been there for ME through some of my lowest points, and now this is my chance to do what I can to fight for HER!
The estimate for surgery and/or chemotherapy are about $6000. Even a small donation to help save her life is greatly appreciated. My little mila needs your help.
I will keep everyone updated with her progress every step of the way. Thank you so much for being with us through this tragedy. Please share her story with your friends and family if you can!
