Hero Marine MSGT Rodney Buentello

Please help us raise funds for the family of fallen hero MSGT Rodney Buentello. He showed immense bravery and selflessness while rescuing two teenagers from drowning near a dam in Bandera County Park. Rodney was a Marine Corps veteran who served one tour in Afghanistan and three tours in Iraq, was awarded two purple hearts and recieved numerous commendations.  We are immensely grateful for Rodney's service to our country and for the ultimate sacrifice he made to save two young lives.  Rodney passed away at age 42, leaving behind a wife named Lisa, with whom he has two sons ages eight and nine, as well as a twenty year old son. He graduated from John Jay High School in San Antonio, TX in 1992 and I am our reunion committee's chairperson.  He was our fellow classmate and our friend so we are raising money to help his wife with the care of his young children, as Rodney was the primary breadwinner for the family and had no life insurance.  Anything you can contribute will be greatly appreciated and will go straight to his wife, who I am in direct contact with. Please help us honor this brave hero by assisting his family through this extremely difficult time.
