Medical costs

Hey Everyone. My name is Nicole and I have been Tasha’s best friend for 16 years. I was waiting to start a go fund me until we had more answers and here we are. Tasha’s medical issues started in early December and continued with multiple ER visits. Tasha has an esophageal hernia. The last visit in the ER I was with her at, the doctor told her 90% of her stomach was in her esophagus. This comes with excruciating pain and inability to eat solid foods. Just drinking water has caused her pain and to throw up. After a frustrating experience with the medical field, Tasha drove to Salt Lake City on Monday(1/8) to finally have a consultation with her specialist, Dr.Chen. All around the appointment went well and she has surgery scheduled for February 9th in Salt Lake City. She will be down there for about a week if all goes well. This is great news and gives Tasha a huge relief to have a plan in place and know that this pain has an end in sight. Tasha made it back to Livingston this morning with such relief only to be met with ANOTHER obstacle, her husband was let go from his job and their insurance coverage ends this month.
