Some lives are measured not by how long they were lived, but by the love they gave and the difference they made.

Jamin was one of those lives.

From a very young age, Jamin had a heart of love and compassion, with a deep desire to help the homeless, the poor and those who were hurting.

Sadly, Jamin left us far too soon. But while he is no longer physically with us, the love he carried and the things that mattered to him remain very much alive.

So, my friends and I have decided to walk.

We are taking on the 28KM Thames Path Ultra Challenge on Saturday, 12th of September, 2026 in Jamin’s memory, raising funds for Haven of Rest. A charity dedicated to sheltering the hurting from the storms of life.

It feels especially meaningful because this reflects something Jamin embodied even at a young age. Seeing people who were hurting and wanting to help.

So this is more than a 28KM walk.

Every step is for Jamin.

Every step remembers his heart.

Every step carries his love forward.

Our hope is that through this challenge, someone facing one of life’s storms might find shelter, hope and a helping hand.

Together, we can turn 28 kilometres into acts of kindness, and allow Jamin’s heart of love to keep reaching people he never had the opportunity to meet.
