We would like to let you know about our daughter Beth Ann. She is 45 years old, a wife, a mother and grandmother, a sister, an aunt and a precious daughter. Her husband is Mike Nedeau and she has 3 children, Dylan 24, Chase 11 and Yazmin 9. Beth has Rheumatoid Arthritis and Congestive Heart Failure. Beth is now being treated at the Mayo Clinic working towards a Heart Transplant. She will be admitted on June 16 for tests and her first heart surgery is scheduled for Monday, June 20th. They are implanting an LVAD (Left Ventricular Assist Device) to beat for the left side of her heart. Beth found out she had RA about 11 years ago and has struggled with medication in order to help her not just work but function day to day. A year ago she found out that she had Congestive Heart Failure that they feel was caused by either the RA or RA medication and that her heart was only working at 8%. She has been in the hospital at least once every month of 2015 and most of 2016. She and her family had to move in with us, because their home is a two story and Beth could no longer climb stairs. With the upcoming surgery and hospital stay of 3 weeks and then recovery time of three months Beth is going to need a lot of help. Mike has already used up most of his vacation and sick time to be with Beth in the hospital and help her at home prior to this. He is applying for FMLA but it only covers some of his pay. So the family is really in need of help at this time. We are asking if anyone feels in their heart that they would like to help, we have set up a ‘Go Fund Me Account’ for Beth and Mike to help with expenses.
