Hospice and end of life care for our loved one

R. Scott Richter is a 59 year old father, grandfather,  beloved son, nephew, uncle and sibling.  November 30, 2020, he received a diagnosis of Stage 4 liver cancer that has metastasized to his lungs. He has had to return to the ER a few times and is now referred to hospice. He is in a lot of pain and in and out lucidity. Currently we are having issues communicating with Scott and medical staff due to covid restrictions and finding him a place for end for end of life care. Any contributions of any size will be greatly appreciated and helpful since this was such a sudden and unexpected situation. We currently need to raise $2,500 just to begin his hospice care and for us as a family to see him one last time and say our goodbyes. 

Scott was born in Orlando, then grew up in the Reno, Sparks area. He graduated from Proctor R. Hug High School in 1978. He is an avid guitarist and musician-songwriter.

He was most recently employed at Bonanza casino as a chef until he had to stop working due to the pain. One thing I think I've learned from this situation is that you should always appreciate the moment because soon it will be a memory.
