Kelly (Smith) Ludwig was an amazing daughter, wife, and mother.  She was always there with a smile and a joke to brighten anyone's day.  She was the ultimate animal lover...rescuing or caring for any living creature she could. 
Nine years ago she was diagnosed with a gastro intestinal stromal tumor (gist).  She had surgery, but doctors continued to monitor certain lymph nodes over the years.  Recently the decision was made to undergo surgery to remove two lymph nodes that had grown.  She was told the surgery was a success and she was so excited to possibly be completely cancer free for the first time in a long time.
Her recovery was more than her body could handle and she passed away just days after the surgery.   This beautiful woman was taken from this world at just 53 years old.
After working and carrying life insurance all her life, her job was eliminated just two months before her death.  There is no life insurance to help with funeral costs.
Her family would be beyond grateful for any contributions to help give her the funeral she deserves.
