Send Uri to the Perl Conference

I have been to every Perl conference (also known as YAPC) since 1998 except for one. I am between jobs now (and actively looking) and I can't afford the travel and hotel costs. I am asking for help with my airfair from Boston to Orlando, hotel room for 4-5 nights, transport to/from the airport in Orlando and daily expenses (mostly meals). The conference starts on Monday June 20, 2016 and ends on Wednesday June 23. I would want to arrive on Sunday 6/19 and leave for Boston either Thursday or Friday 6/24-25. I intend to pay back any funds after I land a new Perl job. Going to YAPC will get me more job leads which is what I need right now. Funding has to be in by June 16 so I can book the flights. I have a room booked already and I will be looking to share it to lower my expenses. I am asking for $1500 but I expect my real expenses to be less but I can't be precise right now.

I have been very active at previous Perl conferences as a fund raising auctioneer, social events director, mentor to newbies and more. Also I have published code on CPAN which has been used by hundreds of other modules and many Perl shops. This is the only conference I always go to and missing this will be a major disappointment.
