The Luis Aguirre Fund
Donation protected
Luis Aguirre, a 32 year young family man from Chatham Ontario. The husband of a proud wife and father of now 3 young children.
We are raising funds for the Aguirre family during some difficult times while Luis fights and battles through his cancer treatments.
Luis has given his all to his family, his career, his friends and now it is time for us to help give something back.
Luis is a special guy, one who touches the lives of people he comes across with his witty and smart personality, a completely calm and collective mannerism and his charisma as a very caring individual. A positive influence to anyone around him for sure.
I have the plessure of knowing Luis as a young college graduate, a trainee, an employee, a colleague, a professional, a very good friend and much more.
Luis was sent out of town to work on an assignment near Montreal, Quebec just after this past Christmas.
About 2 weeks later Luis was rushed to a hospital in Montreal on a Friday afternoon a day short of his scheduled return trip back home in early January of this year 2016. Luis just felt a shortness of breath and thought he had come down with a cold. Luis went through several tests as to his conditions were not clear but very dangerous. Luis had a collapsed lung and his second was filling with fluid. Luis would spend 3 weeks in isolation in Montreal, his wife was flown out to be by his side, leaving her job, 2 children behind all while expecting as she was 6 months pregnant.
Luis was later diagnosed with T-cell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma (stage 4) Cancer and would soon start his journey of chemotherapy treatments in London, ON at the London Regional Cancer program at Victoria Hospital.
Luis was out of work and his wife had to leave her job to take care of her husband and their children while preparing for a new addition to their family.
Luis and his family can use some help. With a new born baby girl (4 weeks old now), a 2 year old boy, a 6 year old girl and a wife out of work to care for her husband and family. With no household income for the past several months. Luis flew his parents in from Ecuador whom also left their jobs and family to be with their son. They had raised limited funds in Ecuador to help cover medical expenses for testing blood and bone marrow for family members back home. One day after leaving Ecuador it got slamed with 3 major earthquakes. This is a lot for any family to have to go through.
Expenses and bills keep piling up with continuos road trips to London for testing, treatments, checkups. House mortgage, utilities, car payments, groceries, gas, medicine, new baby items, the list goes on and on and on.
Luis nor his family are asking and or are aware of any hand me outs, its his friends, co-workers and I that are organizing this fund to help the family through this very difficult time. Any help is very much appreciated.
God bless you, thank you very much for considering, keep Luis and his family in your prayers and again any donations will help!
