My dogs that are sisters from the same liter and love each other so much and are inseparable, have both become ill recently.
The tan one Pua, with one of the biggest hearts, literally, was diagnosed with severe heart disease this year. Last weekend she was admitted to the Emergency vet hospital for her second heart failure, and responded really well to the treatment. She still remains on medication for the rest of her life to try and keep her stable, but so far she is back to her normal happy self.
Last week, her sister Meli, was diagnosed with A-Carcinoma of the Anal sac and will go into surgery tomorrow to remove the mass as well as her lymph nodes that were also affected. They recommend radiation as well, that could last 3-4 weeks and done daily, they say this combination of treatments are very successful.
I hope to have both of them around to comfort one another, they definitely have been a big part of my life, giving me the most unconditional love and getting me through some of the hardest times with their companionship.
I don't like asking for help, but this has been an unexpected and critical expense that is necessary and unfortunately at the time, not something I can afford on my own, but I need to give back to them, everything I can and more what they have provided for me...
Anything will help, and is more than appreciated. So thanks for taking the time to read this, and helping us:)
