On April 25, 2016 the Fera's world came to a screeching halt. After weeks of having horrific headaches, their third child, Anna, was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Surgery was performed and most of the tumor was removed.
After two weeks of waiting, the pathology report showed that Anna has WNT Medullablastoma.
After a lot of thought and discussions with doctors, they decided to take Anna to St. Jude's in Memphis, Tennessee where she will be treated at one of the top pediatric hospitals that specializes in this type of cancer.
She is currently undergoing radiation, then will have 6 to 12 months of chemotherapy.
The Fera's also have 3 other children that are still at home in Pittsburgh. They have a long haul ahead of them with medical bills, transportation, food, housing etc.
Please keep the Fera's in your thoughts and prayers! And thank you all for your support!
