Eric Ehler had emergency surgery on January 28th after experiencing severe stomach pain. He underwent six additional gastrointestinal surgeries and is currently still under observation to ensure his final surgery heals properly. It has been an arduous process and his road to recovery still involves switching from his current hospital to a long term care facility while he goes through physical therapy.
