Help Tanner with Medical Costs for Brain Tumor

On December 21st, Tanner suffered a seizure while at work and was taken to the hospital, where it was discovered that he has a brain tumor the size of a ping pong ball. He has recently relocated from Colorado to Indianapolis, and just started his new managerial position in October and is still waiting for the probationary period to be over before he is eligible for insurance benefits at his new job. At this time, he does not have any medical insurance to help. Due to the seizures, he is not able to drive and will need to continue to work until his surgery is scheduled. Once he has the surgery, he will also not be able to work for a month and unable to drive until a neurologist gives him the okay. In addition to the cost of the medical emergency from his seizure, ambulance rides, MRIs, and CT scans, he is also scheduled to have brain surgery on January 8th for the full removal of the tumor in order for it to be sent in for pathology. While we will not know the results of whether the tumor is benign or cancerous at this time, he faces a very long medical road and financial burden. At this time, we believe that brain surgery without insurance costs upwards of $100,000. We know 2020 has been a dumpster fire of a year for so many people. As hard as it is to ask for help, Tanner really needs our help.
