Beloved grandfather, father, husband, and uncle, Felipe Cruz has passed away just days before Christmas after a long battle with COVID-19. He was a long time trusted cook at Mexican Gardens and anyone who knew him knew what a hard working & funny man he was. His entire life revolved around being a grandpa as he cherished and loved being one. Unfortunately, with the tough times because of the pandemic and the holiday season, my family and I are asking for donations.. for help, to be able to give him a proper burial so he may rest peacefully. ANYTHING would be appreciated greatly by my family & I and all proceeds will go in to laying him to rest. Side note: people, PLEASE be considerate when going out in public, especially of your elders. Wear a mask, wash your hands, and avoid being in large groups. Just because COVID seems like a common sickness for the younger generation does not mean you can’t infect those with preexisting health conditions. Save a life and stay home
