Hunter Rowland’s cancer journey

On December 21 the Rowland family got terrible news about their oldest son Hunter, Malignant Neuroendocrine Tumor. This news came after weeks of “ruling out” other possibilities for symptoms Hunter was feeling. They are told this type of cancer is very rare in people Hunters age. Hunter is a senior at Pequot Lakes High School. If you have had the pleasure of meeting him, he is one of the sweetest kids ever! He is my Gabe’s best friend and we are heart broken by this news. Next up for Hunter will be a pet scan to determine if there are any other tumors in his body. Some testing to determine the type of tumor, as the diagnosis is pretty broad, he has. There is a team of doctors being formed and once they have all the information a treatment plan will be determined. This will likely include surgery(s). This will mean many more trips back and forth to the University of Minnesota, along with medical expenses I can’t even imagine. Please help this family. Share Hunter’s go fund me page. Pray for him.
