Help My Mum Fight Metastatic Brain & Spine Cancer

Donation protected
Hi all, I am fundraising for my mum who has stage 4 metastatic spinal and brain cancer, spread primarily from breast cancer. This is not curable and my mum has been given the prognosis of a limited time left with us.

What we want most in the world is to defy these odds. We want to strive beyond the predetermined fate that the doctors have set out for mum. If anyone can do this, it's her.

My mum is currently confined to a wheel chair suffering from neurological problems. Such as loss of feeling in legs, hands and back. This is so unfair. It is with heavy heartache and determination that me and my 3 younger siblings reach out to everyone and anyone that can help give our mum the best possible chance in this fight against precious time.

Why we are fundraising:

We want to give my mum the best quality of life possible. So we are raising money to help pay for private treatments available in the UK that can improve my mum's immune system, meaning a better overall health. We believe my mum having the best treatments possible will give us the best outcome, the healither she is the better chance she has at fighting and staying with us longer. Which ultimately means more to us than anything.

We also want to take away any new financial burdens she is now dealing with due to not being able to work anymore. Even if this just means her soon-to-be Husband, Neil, can take time off work to spend quality time with and care for my mum. We want to make sure she doesn't have any more worries and give us children an opportunity to make lasting memories with our mum by doing things that make her happy and spending as much time as we can with her.

The treatments we are trying to pay for privately include:
Hyperthermia
Immune Balance UBI
Vitamin C IV
Ozone IV Therapy
Hydrogen Peroxide & Chelation
Supplements

About my Mum:

My mum, Alison, 42, has already fought stage 3 breast cancer before in 2016. My mum not only beat this cancer but miraculously did this whilst she was pregnant!! This is a testament to her unbelievable strengh. Despite fighting and coping with aggressive chemotherapy treatments all throughout her pregnancy, she gave birth to a beautiful, healthy baby girl. My “miracle baby sister” Rose-Helena, as I call her.

No doubt this was a scary time for our family. So you could only imagine the amazing relief and happiness we felt when my mum received her last chemo treatment, followed by a mastectomy and was finally free of cancer.

Unfortunately, although this was the hardest times we ever faced as a family, this was not the first time my mum had experienced extremely low points in life. My mum has had to put up a fight throughout her whole life with ongoing traumatic events that went on for years. Ever since it seems my mum has had no luck in life to say the least.

Now, just when we thought 2020 could not possibly get worse, with everything going on and my Grandad passing in April, it did. The worst happened, Mums cancer has came back. Metastatic breast cancer spread to the spinal cord and brain, and given the prognosis of a short time left with us.

I would also love to give my mum her dream wedding. This is due to take place in April and is now the 4th time she and her amazing Husband to be, Neil, have tried to get married. Terrible circumstances have stopped them every time. But not now.

Everything and anything would be massively appreciated by our whole family from the bottom of our hearts.

There is so much more to my mums story that I hope you will one day hear about and share. Her heart, courage and strength is almost unmatched in this world. A rare friend and person to be lucky enough to know. My mum has given her heart and held her hands out to everyone she has ever passed in life if not just brightened their day. That is why she deserves so much more than this. So, I would do anything to give her this chance and have the best quality of life possible with this unexpected and devastatingly sad ending to 2020.
