My name is Ghezal Fariq. I am from Milton Ontario Canada.
The best thing I can wish for anyone in the world is good health and happines. Unfortunately, this hasn't been in my cousin Mustafa's luck.
Mustafa is 30 years old. He is a kind hearted, friendly and fun person who migrated from Afghanistan to U.S just three months ago for a better life. In Afghanistan he worked with Amercian soldiers as a translator and had been to the worst war areas you can imagine. He had suffered a gun shot as well while he was working with U.S soldiers. He always had a dream to go to U.S as it is the land of opportunities. He wanted a better life for himself, his expecting wife and his to be born baby girl. Unfortunately, his wife had a stillbirth and their dreams of starting a family was shattered. While everything was going wrong in his life, U.S Embassy in Kabul started accepting application for people who worked for them in Afghanistan. He was one of the lucky ones who migrated to California three months ago. He was very happy and was saying that he will work hard to achieve a better life and start a family. He was in the process of getting his social security no. for work and driving license that again disaster hit him. He got really sick with high fever for a few days. By Sunday June 5th, his condition got worse and he was admitted to hospital where he went to Coma for one day. After the tests, he was diagnosed with leukemia. This news has been really hard on him and his wife. They don't know what to do. They have to cope with so much right now, new country, new life and life threatening illness.
The government is helping him with his finances, but it is limited. He is in need of financial support to pay his bills so he could concentrate on his long term treatment as he is enable to work.
I need your support to show him that humanity is above race, religion and color and that we do care for every human in need. Please show your support and donate for him.
Together we can make a difference in his life.
Thank you so much,
Ghezal Fariq
