Alyssa's Life Saving Surgery in Germany

My name is Alyssa, I’m 30 years old. I’m a single mama of a 9 year old boy and 6 year old girl.  I’m very newly single, separated and going through a divorce.  Talk about timing as I am unable to work due to my worsening conditions.

We are asking for your help in raising these funds that will go to surgery and treatment that will not only save my life but also enable a better quality of life. 

I’m currently living with a picc line with what’s called TPN, it’s formulated nutrients for what my body needs due in extreme pain and pressure, vomiting, that disables me to eat much of anything on my own and I lost too much weight. It’s helping me keep a little weight on that I need to qualify for any surgery.

The surgery is an Auto-Transplant for a condition called nutcracker syndrome. Which means, right now my left renal vein is being compressed between the aorta and the superior mesenteric artery. The AT consist of moving my kidney and renal vein down to my pelvis where it won't be and can't compress, I am also considering donating my kidney after functionality tests are done during a procedure in two weeks.

There are unfortunately no surgeons in California capable of performing this surgery. I have been in contact with team at university of Utah, who can do this surgery, has done it many times, and is going to take my case on. 

I do have may thurners syndrome (left iliac compression) in which I have two stents there to open the iliac which was being compressed as well this year. I also have pelvic congestion (varicose in ovarian veins) which are both extensively coiled so blood can not back up there anymore. Also some poasible.stomach ligaments crossings In Which scans are being reviewed to check for.

We truly appreciate anything you give during this process... time, support, and what you can donate to insurance costs and expenses after insurance in order for me to have the auto transplant as well as possibility of what could be done if stomach is crossed and compressed as well.
