Chris Hurner ♥️
For those of you that know, for those of you that have felt her love, for those of you that were not lucky enough to have met her.. the world lost somebody irreplaceable December 18th, 2020. Ive finally figured out how to put into words, the love that came from Chris’s heart. It’s as if, she could dig deep down into a persons soul and find what your missing piece was, and become that piece. She leaves behind a hard working, committed, full of love family. A husband that is broken without his better half, that still bravely gets up every day, to take care of the farm, her horses, her passion and stand strong for the family that they created . This family is doing everything it takes right now, to keep Chris’s legacy marching on, as brightly as she intended. Chris gave so much, to so many, expecting so little in return. Right now, we need to honor her and do what we can to help this family! The family business/barn, is home to 20 horses that require a full days work! The daughters and son of Chris, among a handful of family friends have joined forces to keep up with chores. But the medical expenses on top of every day essentials for 20 horses.. has become something out of reach!
Chris was admitted to the hospital on November 30th, to get a COVID test, as she wasn’t feeling quite right. They soon realized it was more serious, and later that night found her body riddled with stage 4 lung cancer. She spent December 1st - 6th at St. Vincent’s hospital. Was transported home December 7th and started hospice on the 15th. She passed surrounded by nothing but support and love, with those that meant most, right by her side as she took her last breath. This experience has hit the family like hurricane. Out of the middle of nowhere, shattering every heart in sight. Donate, to aid in picking up the pieces, and filling the shoes of someone so strong and important! Her daughters are working their tails off to fill in the blanks. But we need help. Thank you. Rest In Peace, mom, wife, sister, friend and the glue that held our hearts together, we love you Chris Hurner.
