Hi, I'm Andy. On November 3rd I was diagnosed with colon cancer. On the 18th of December the doctors removed part of my colon, my tumor, and some lymph nodes.

We do not know everything yet, not until after pathology comes back.
But this road has lead us down a path I never expected, at least not yet. I am 38, I am a mother, a best friend, a partner... I love gardening, playing with my kids, dancing in the kitchen, baking, I am a regular person with a full life and then BAM from out of left field this dumb tumor decided to take up residence in my gut and ruin my good time.
I am not nearly, not in the slightest giving up and I am going to beat this.
I am not sure of the full expense related to my endeavor, but anything that you would like to contribute to help make this financially a little less stressful is greatly appreciated.
And even if you cannot donate, that's okay too. Just take this information... Colon cancer is real and serious and can be really serious if you don't pay attention to your body or you ignore symptoms. Everyone has a butt, and please do not be embarrassed about talking about your butt with your doctor.
When I was talking to my doctor about my symptoms that lead me down this road, I was embarrassed but I just sucked it up and pushed through. If something does not feel right then talk to your doctor, one awkward conversation could literally save your life.
