In May 2012, Elliot suffererd life changing injuries from a car crash. I am Elliot's dad and along with his uncle, two of his "OLD" rugby coaches, and some rugby friends. We have decided to raise funds for the Millwood Brain Injury Rehabilitation Unit in Nottingham, where Elliot has made amazing progress while he has been a resident.
Elliot is due to leave the unit to rejoin his family shortly, which we are all looking forward to. So we have decided to raise funds for the rehabilitation unit in order to say thank you for all they have done for him. The purpose of the funds are so they can buy new equipment and also take the residents on days out. We think this is the least we can do to thank them.
So after speaking to friends and family we came up with the BOT 2 BOT cycle challenge which consists of us riding from Burton on Trent (rugby club) to Berwick on Tweed along the Pennine way cycle route. We have planned a route and will start the journey on 29/08/2016 and hope to finish on 03/09/2016
So please help us say a great big thank you to Millwood for all of their hard work they have put in for Elliot
As family and friends of Elliot we think this is a little thing to ask all of our friends and relatives to give us some of your hard earned cash and help us thank Millwood and get them some new equipment and some days out for future residents of the unit.
