Friends, Family, Work Associates, Musicians, and Neighbors of the Community;

In May, Rodney Elliott lost his life partner Clark Holt.  Devestating and shocking as an unexpected death can be, the aftershocks of this loss has been just as shattering.  

Rodney has lived and provided a home with Clark, and his mother Joyce for several years. Joyce requires elder care daily for meals, basic living, activity, and early dimensia safety. Clark was  that stable force while Rodney worked outside the house.  

This new circumstance, where Rodney must care for his mother and support the home independently  has been comounded by a houdning landlord, and finincial need that he has never experienced before.  

immediate donations will be used to enable Rodney and his mother to secure a place to live.  WIthout Clarks income and home care for Joyce, Rodney and his mother Joyce simply need to get new footing and  a place to call home without torment or expense of their current status. 

Specifically, these funds will enable Rodney to pay current months rent- and place a deposit at a safe and relaible home.  It is an immediate need, and can save a family from spiraling into even more dire need and devestation.  

As a friend, and co worker with Rodney- I know that seeing this happen to him makes me see it could happen to any one of of us.  Hard working, responsible, and reliable in his life, helping a friend from a tumble to dire straights is an essential part of that empathy and understanding .  

Thank you for helping during this very difficult and transitional time- that with support will be endured and recovered from quickly.
