Conservative Comedy Show v. Liberal Hollywood

There is a huge problem liberal Hollywood executives will need to deal with in the very near future and that is this....win, lose, or draw the fact is that 75+ million Americans voted for Donald Trump because they believe that there is something wrong with the hard left turn American society (and media) is trending towards. That huge swath of their viewing audience grows wearier by the day of being force feed leftist anti-western civilization programming.
There is also a very large problem that conservatives face as well, and that is that while those who are politically engaged have plenty of sources for independent and right leaning news, those who are not interested in searching out news and information are still getting leftist messaging in their entertainment media.
Whether it be social justice messaging in professional sports or subtle themes being worked into movies and television shows aimed at the youth audiences, conservatives are losing a messaging battle many don't even realize they are fighting.
Well, the 'Cartoon Riot' is here to fix that. 'Cartoon Riot' will be an animated parody sketch show that would best be described as 'Robot Chicken' meets 'Saturday Night Live' with a dash of Mel Brooks' parody stylings and a healthy dose of the deconstructionist undertones that made 'Monty Python' so great.
This show, aimed firmly at a 14 to 40+ year old demographic, will take on many modern issues like 'white privilege,' ‘safe spaces,’ 'people's preferred pronouns,' the 'gender pay gap,' and 'micro-aggressions' to name a few. We will also proudly poke fun at fake 'social justice' figures like Jussie Smollett, Christine Blasey-Ford, Nathan Phillips, and many more. Much of the show would take on these current debates by framing them within the context of classic movies, television shows, and advertising as well as taking a lot of inspiration from more modern 'meme culture.'
This fundraising campaign IS NOT to fund the show because, well honestly, we have no idea how much making an animated show will cost and quite frankly we want to make Hollywood pay to create their own worst enemy. The $5000 this campaign seeks is to fund our creators trip/move into 'the belly of the beast' (Hollywood) to find like-minded managers, agents, producers, and studios.
No matter how much this campaign does or does not raise, our head-writer & show creator, Mr. Tom Sanford, will be heading west after the holiday season to seek out the team and funding to make this show happen and find the best platform to get it to the people. The amount we are able to raise will be the difference between Tom living out of his car and eating McDonald every day vs. living in a super cheap hotel and upgrading to Wendy's and Taco Bell from time to time. This IS NOT a vacation fund, this is funding a start up which could become one of the most popular and influential shows in a very long time.
Those who donate even the smallest amounts will be given Mr. Sanford's personal email address as well as script previews, inside info, and updates on progress.
Please keep in mind this is our first crack at a gofundme so we aren't sure of all the proper tricks and etiquette. What we are and always be is a fan friendly group and are very open to suggestions and help of any kind.
