Loving Loretta in her final days

Last Sunday my mom called at her usual time and read stories to my kids – Christmas stories next to the Christmas tree. Every single day after that has brought heartbreaking and unbelievable news. Monday she was airlifted to a hospital for multiple blood clots. Tuesday the doctors diagnosed her with carcinomatosis – stage 4 cancer in her abdomen. Wednesday my dad picked her up and brought her home with hospice care.

She has already received an outpouring of love and support, which has meant the world. So many loving family members and friends have asked how they can help. As you can imagine, cancer care is expensive. We wanted to give you a place to honor the impact Loretta has made in so many of your lives.
