Camila's Funeral Expenses

Angie, Camila's Mom needs your help to raise funds for her daughter's funeral, since her family is not prepared for such expense.

We created this GoFundMe for her, all proceeds will be given to the Acosta family to help with funeral expenses.

Here is Camila's story told by her mom:

Camila Angie Acosta: I'm Angélica, who had the honor of being Camila Acosta's mother. Cami was born on January 21st,

13 years ago and was always a very happy child.

She loved being with her family, her friends, and went to school. She also loved dancing and singing.

Camila began experiencing health problems in early 2024. What started as anemia progressed with new symptoms, and we knew something wasn't right. We sought answers from pediatricians, gynecologists, and hematologists until an emergency surgery revealed she had uterine cancer.

Camila underwent chemotherapy and radiation, praying with hope and a positive attitude. Unfortunately, the cancer was very aggressive and did not respond to any treatment, and she passed away on May 13th at the age of 13.

Camila fought until the end; she was strong, brave, and the kindest girl I know.

We will always love her and be proud of her.

Camila Angie Acosta: Soy Angelica, quien tuvo el honor de ser la mamá de Camila Acosta. Cami nació un 21 de enero hace 13 años y siempre fue una niña muy feliz.

Amaba estar con su familia, amaba a sus amigos y le gustaba mucho ir a la escuela. También le gustaba mucho bailar y cantar.

Camila empezó a tener problemas de salud a principios del 2024, lo que empezó como una anemia fue avanzando con síntomas nuevos y sabíamos que algo no estaba bien. Buscamos la respuesta con pediatras, ginecólogos y homólogos hasta que una cirugía de emergencia reveló que tenía cancer en el útero.

Camila tomó quimioterapia, radiación, hizo oraciones siempre con esperanza y una buena actitud

Desgraciadamente el cancer era muy agresivo y no respondió a ningún tratamiento y falleció el 13 de mayo

Camila luchó hasta el final, era fuerte, valiente y la niña más buena que conozco.

Siempre la vamos a amar y estar orgullosos de ella.
