Cancer can't beat this Grandpa!

It's very hard to ask for help when you need it, but at some point it's even harder not to ask.
Two months ago (9 months before retirement) my father (Roger Cardwell) was rushed to the hospital with chest pains. We soon learned that the pain was due to a large tumor on his left lung. Soon after he was released from the hospital we were told that his condition is severe with a slim chance of survival. Since that day we have been determined to change his odds. Doing everything that medical professionals have instructed us to do. Things are starting to look better health wise! However he still has a long road of treatment ahead.
Anyone that has ever met my dad knows he is a hard worker (still works 2 jobs!) and has only missed a couple of days work since his diagnosis (even during chemo!).
My dad married my mother when I was 12 and accepted all 5 of her children as his own taking us fishing, camping, attending softball and swim practice. Fixing our beat up cars and "trying" to build the crazy projects we dreamed up..... just basically being a pretty awesome DAD!
At this point my parents are receiving bills totalling $1000- $2000 weekly after insurance has paid their portion.
More than anything we want my dad to win his fight with cancer!...... my second wish is that he will not loose everything he has worked his entire life for in the process.
Any help that anyone would be generous enough to give would be greatly appreciated and accepted with endless gratitude.
