Hello everyone, we are so so lucky to work in a neighborhood like Westhaven where we are able to build relationships and get to know the people in our community on more than just a surface level. One of our fellow Westhaven employees, our lovely neighbor Karen (from Jimmy’s Cleaners) recently shared her story with us and we wanted to help out as much as we could. Karen’s husband was recently diagnosed with stage four lung cancer. They found out that it has spread to his bones and has an estimated time of about two weeks to live. Karen is one of the most loving and caring individuals we have ever met and if you have met her i’m sure you would agree. In this difficult time Karen and her family are working tirelessly to save up money to be able to afford all of the bills that will come out of this unforeseen situation. This year has already been a crazy time for everyone so we can’t imagine what her and her family are going through. We started this go fund me to hopefully help Karen and her family with any expenses they will need within the next couple of months. If you feel lead to give any amount it would be very much appreciated. We are excited to see how the community of Westhaven and Franklin are able to come together to help this family out. -High Brow Coffee + Tea Staff
