On June 6th, Gary Hamilton, our cherished dad, husband and brother was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer of the lungs, lymph nodes and brain.  Although the prognosis is shocking and hard to swallow, Gary and his family all want to fight.  In the coming weeks he will undergo a Gamma Knife procedure that will focus laser beams at the three spots in his brain in hopes to reduce the tumors.  In addition, Gary will go through chemotherapy for the tumors in his lungs and lymph nodes.  To complicate matters, he is currently in the hospital recovering from emergency surgery that removed two large blood clots from his foot.  Upon being admitted to the hospital after he was flown by helicopter, he was also diagnosed with pneumonia and additional manageable conditions.  Thankfully, the cancer was discovered during his current emergency stay at Florida Hospital. 

We have started a GoFundMe Account because unfortunately, cancer treatment is very expensive.  The current two week hospital stay and surgery has racked up large medical bills and the future cancer treatments like the Gamma Knife procedure and chemotherpy are large.  Additional holistic treatments that will be administered outside of the hospital are not covered by insurance. 

Gary's oncologist advised against working due to the condition of his recovering foot, cancer status and susceptibility to catching pneumonia as well as his weakened immune system during chemotherapy.  So in addition to all of the cancer expenses, he is also losing his income. 

We strongly believe that a combination of the doctor recommended course of treatment along with a holistic treatment and diet regimen can cure his cancer.  We plan to supplement with various medicinal herbs and outpatient energy healing treatments as well as a zero sugar/animal protein free organic diet.
