Those of you who know the Peachey family, know that they are probably the sweetest, bubbliest, most caring family you've ever met. I have always admired how positive they all are in good times and bad. I have known the family for over ten years now. Alyssa has been one of my closest friends swimming side by side with her for many years. Although Mr. Peachey wasn't the loudest of parents at swim meets, I knew I could always look at him with a smile on his face. In such a difficult time, it's hard to know how to help one of my best friends and her family. That's why I have decided to start this page so that I can feel that I am doing something to help someone who has always helped me so much. 
Kent Peachey was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer in January of 2015 with metastasis to his liver, abdomen, lung, and brain.  Although this is horrible news, I never once saw this family be negative or pessimistic. With that being said, the medical bills at this point are through the roof. Kent has spent the past two weeks alone in the hospital due to his worsening condition. 
As a way to tell the Peachey's that their friends and family are always praying for them and supporting them, a GoFundMe page has been started. Supporting the family will help Kent live more comfortably and allow the family to enjoy their last few days with him since he will be going home on hospice by the weekend. 
The Peachey's appreciate everyone's support and love that they have gotten throughout this past year and a half.
