Help Save Susan's Home

My name is Susan Garton.
I am in a desperate situation.  I have not shared this with anyone...not even those closest to me...until now.  My nerves are shot...and I'm trembling as I write this.  I never wanted to ask for help from anyone.  I didn't want to be a burden to anyone.  I just don't know what else to do.
I received notices today in the mail.  If my city and county taxes are not paid in the next couple of weeks...my house will be sold out from under me and I will be homeless.  They have already put liens against the house.  I have no other way to get the money...So I'm asking for your help.
You ask how I got into such a predicament...
I came down here in 2004 to care for my mother who had a stroke and had to have brain surgery.  She passed in 2012...but she made sure the house was left to me.  My husband passed in 2013.  I had to go about 6 months with no income and then began receiving a widow's benefit from Social Security.  It's barely enough to make it through the month.  My children and a couple of my closest friends tried to help me along the way.  I was promised last year that I wouldn't  have to worry about this year's taxes...so I could upright myself.  But when this year came along...it didn't happen.  So now I am in a panic...and I have no where else to turn.
I know there are so many that are much more deserving of your help.  I just have no where else to turn.
If there is any way you could see your way to help me...I would be eternally grateful.  Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.
