Mervins Dream

Our son Mervin Linklater has Autism and was diagnosed with testicular cancer last April. He had successfully had surgery to remove the tumor, but the cancer had moved to his lungs. After 3 cycles of Chemotherapy, it has cleared the lungs, but not before it has shown to have spread to his brain. He has already bravely endured 10 treatments of Radiation Therapy and is again on Chemotherapy for 4 cycles. These treatments have been very hard on this young man. 9 hours daily for 5 days, then a two week break then repeat the cycle 4 more times.

Mervin always has a smiling face and warm hug for other patients also going through these treatments and rarely asks for anything for himself.

His one wish it to go to Marine Land and Game farm in Niagara Falls, Ontario. He would also love to see his papa who he is very close too, in Mississauga for his 93rd birthday. The family hopes to be able to take him there, but needs your help.

I have also had some medical problems, and have been unable to work since last September. So you can well imagine the hardship our family has been going through over the last year, but our main priority is to see to Mervins happiness.
