Mark and Kathy's medical expenses

Mark Nunn, a dear friend and pastor to many of us, was admitted to the hospital over a week ago with pneumonia and pleural effusions. Although he is finally on the mend (praise God!) thanks to many of you lifting him in prayer, he is still looking at a few more days spent in the hospital. Personally, while praying and praying, I found myself feeling itchy to find a tangible way to help them from afar, and a few other friends I spoke to felt the same. After talking to Kathy, I learned that their local church is providing meals, and she currently has help with the younger kids because Austin is home for the summer and Amber is there for a few days. But, it became apparent that they are going to have some big medical expenses due to Mark's illness and admission. (It seems like no one stays in the hospital for more than a day or two these days, so it doesn't take much to imagine the bills that Mark's week-plus stay will generate.) Mark and Kathy are blessed to have medical insurance, but even with that, there will be a large deductible to be met and then their portion of the bill to be paid once insurance kicks in. If you are looking for a way to help, and if you have the ability to do so, please consider making a financial donation. Every little bit will be a huge help once the medical bills start rolling in (as, in fact, they already have).  As a way of showing our appreciation to Mark and Kathy for the ways they have ministered to each of us over the years in various places and in various ways, let's see if we can minister to them by helping them meet these unexpected medical expenses.   In the meantime, keep praying for Mark's full recovery!
