Support Armando's fight with cancer
Donation protected
Last year while going through some routine tests my husband of 32 years Armando was diagnosed with liver cancer. The doctors said the tumors could be treated with chemotherapy but his liver would continue to produce tumors that could metastasis to other organs spreading the cancer. The cure would be a liver transplant. This was difficult to hear, just 6 years ago Armando was on kidney dialysis and needed a kidney transplant. Fortunately I was able to give my husband and best friend one of my kidneys and he was doing well. Now we face this challenge. Columbia NY Presbyterian hospital is willing to do the transplant but they want him to be stronger to survive the surgery so we have been traveling to New York for doctor appointments, tests and cancer treatments. Armando has been so strong through all of this even encouraging Me from his hospital bed. It's been so emotional and a financial strain since neither of us are working. So we are reaching out and asking for help. We need financial help to cover medical and travel expenses as well as daily needs. Any donation that you can give would be a greatly appreciated.
