Support Arnie with his fight against IMHA

Our best friend, Arnie has touched the hearts of every person he’s encountered. Even though he was found as a stray at 9 years old, he’s never let that hold him back from being the most affectionate and compassionate animal we’ve ever met, as people who have had pets their whole lives. He is a treasure and a member of our family. Even cat people love him! He actually smiles and holds your hand whenever you give him belly rubs, and has a keen sense for when people in his life need a little bit of love when they are feeling down. Navigating this pandemic with him by our sides has been the only thing making it a bit easier. Unfortunately, on 12/12/20, his loving, charismatic personality took an extreme turn, and a few days later we find ourselves with a potential diagnosis for Immune-Mediated Hemoloytic anemia, with potential for other complications. His doctors are fairly optimistic that with aggressive treatments of blood transfusions, steroids, and close monitoring, we have a chance at getting his red blood cells level up, and ultimately save our little man, giving him some more time to light up more hearts this holiday season. We would never ask if we didn’t truly need it. Unfortunately love alone can’t cure this illness. We are forever in your debt for your compassion for our best friend. Giving him the best chance possible is all we can ask for. Thanks for reading.
