Remembering Justin and Nikole Brasiel
Donation protected
Fifteen years ago, Linda and I welcomed Justin, Nicole, Caley, and Emma into our lives when they became the first tenants in my late mother's home across the street from us. At the time, I believe the kids were only 8 and 2 years old. Our friendship quickly blossomed into a deep connection, and we watched the little girls grow as if they were our own.
After five years as our tenants, they embarked on the journey of homeownership and moved across town, only to return to the neighborhood a few years later, this time as our next-door neighbors. They weren't just friends; they were family. We shared in their joys, celebrated milestones, and supported each other through the ups and downs that life throws at us.
Our bond extended beyond the neighborhood, as Justin and Nicole shared our passion for motorcycles, and for decades, we shared that bond. On November 4th, Justin and Nicole jumped on their Harley and set out on their beloved ride up Hwy 108 to Sonora, a journey they'd taken countless times before. Regrettably, this time, they didn't return. A tragic accident claimed both of their lives, leaving a void in our hearts and in the lives of their daughters, Caley (25) and Emma (19).
No child should have to endure the pain of losing both parents suddenly. Caley and Emma are now facing a reality that is beyond comprehension. If you can find it in your heart to make any size donation, you will be contributing to easing the financial burden on these two young women as they navigate the multitude of challenges that lie ahead.
Thank you,
