Raposo Family - Funeral & Life fund

Donation protected

On August 8, 2016 we unexpectedly lost our mother at the age of 36, she had been living with a rare genetic disorder called Machado-Joseph disease for the past 18 years; she was diagnosed right after she gave birth to me her oldest daughter, and has been unable to walk for the past 10 years, and had lost nearly all motor function in the past few years.
She was such a stong and selfless mother & we all thought we would have more time with her.

Me and my sister will now be living with our uncle and aunt and we would like to help with the funeral expenses, the financial burden (living/school expenses) of taking on two more teenagers, as well as get my younger sister (age 15) & myself (17) all set for her first year and my last year of high school and to get myself started on going to college next year to someday become a nurse to help individuals like my mother live better lives.

We are extremely devistated that she was taken from us so soon and suddenly.

We ask that instead of service floral arrangments you make a donation to this fund.

Anything helps whether you are able to donate, share this post, or spread the word.
We appreciate all of your help. Thank you.

Love, Alyssa & Elizabeth Raposo
