**READ UPDATE**
In September 2020 I will be taking the big step of moving to New Zealand to attend a Discipleship Training School (DTS) with an organization called Youth With A Mission (YWAM).
YWAM is an Christian missionary and outreach group. Their main purpose is to 'know God and to make him known'. The DTS is an intensive 6 month program consisting of 3 months of classroom training followed by 3 months of outreach where you get to apply what you've learned in a developing country. During the classroom training phase, speakers come from all over the world to teach on subjects like hearing the Voice of God, Evangelism, and Biblical Worldview. Some of the possible outreach locations include: Nepal, Fiji, Cambodia, or the Philippines. I can't even begin to tell you how excited I am for this opportunity to both learn about God and tell others about him.
I would like to ask you to pray about joining my support team. I know that God wants to do this ministry through me, and I need others to partner with me in making it happen. I believe that the first and most important thing that I need is prayer, and would appreciate you joining me as a prayer partner. To attend this exciting school, I also need to raise enough financial support. As a child of God, I know that I am in His hands, and I am confident He will provide for what He has called me to do. I am fully trusting God with my future but I also realize...I need some help!
I need a total of $10,000 raised by August 2020. With your help, I will get to reach out to hundreds of people who are broken and lost in both a physical and spiritual way. What an epic challenge and opportunity!
I am wondering if you will consider joining my team with a one time gift or a monthly gift of however much God leads you to. In addition I will also be posting numerous fundraising opportunities such as Christmas baking or crocheted gifts that can be purchased with all funds going to this mission. I will also have an on-going bottle drive, if you have bottles at anytime please let me know and I will come pick them up. I am also willing to do babysitting, pet-sitting and house-sitting for donations on an ongoing basis. Please contact me privately if you require any of these services. In addition I will be contributing my earnings from my job as a lifeguard between now and then towards my goal.
