On Friday, December 11, Don and Sandy Miller received notice that their son, Aaron Miller was found at their home severely injured from a self -inflicted gun shot wound. Aaron was taken by ambulance to Waverly Health Center and then transferred to The University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City. Upon arrival at UIHC Aaron was taken into surgery, where the surgeons worked for hours to stop the bleeding on Aaron’s face. He is currently in critical condition in the Surgical and Neurologoical ICU with severe facial damage, a vent, and is being kept sedated. UIHC is the best place for Aaron to be at this time, but this can create a financial strain on any family. Hospital bills, travel expenses and other needs will start adding up quickly. As friends of the family we want to do everything we can for them, but this is beyond us. If you can please help us help them through this fundraiser it would be tremendously appreciated.
