Chase's Fight
Donation protected
Dear Friends and Family,
On September 7th, Chase Schweiger suffered a seizure, which led to a fall that caused a significant brain bleed. Chase was transferred to Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he underwent emergency surgery to drain the bleed and remove pressure from his brain. He remains in the ICU at Johns Hopkins. He is receiving excellent care there, and Wendi and Jordan have been by his side since the incident occurred.
We are launching this GoFundMe with the hopes of helping to cover any care and therapy that Chase will need as he recovers. Also, Wendi and Jordan have the added expenses of travel, staying in Baltimore, and caring for Mason and Sloane at home.
Our goal is to raise $20,000 to ensure that Wendi and Jordan can focus on Chase's recovery and not have the added stress of financial burdens. Everything raised will go directly to the Schweiger family to focus on Chase's recovery.
Chase is a fighter. As most of you know, this is not the first time he has suffered a brain injury, as he survived a stroke when he was only 7. We know how strong Chase is, and we are all hoping and praying for a full recovery. No donation is too small, and every contribution will make a difference as he continues to heal.
Thank you for all the support you have already shown the Schweiger family. Your generosity means the world. The Schweigers are the most caring and charitable family, and they have been raising both awareness and money for pediatric strokes since May of 2014. Now is our turn to help them.
With love,
