Dear Friends and Family,

We are reaching out to raise funds for our beloved husband, brother, son, and friend, Chance Haegele. On December 1, Chance was on his way to work when he was in a serious car accident. He had just gotten married three days before.

As a result of the accident, Chance experienced a traumatic brain injury, along with fractures in his skull and neck. As of this post, he is in the ICU, intubated and under sedation. He is fortunate to have a great medical team taking care of him, and his healing has progressed, but the financial strain of medical bills and being away from work is adding up.

In addition to getting married, Chance recently purchased and moved into a new home with his newlywed, Tera, and stepdaughter Adrianna. As the main wage-earner for the family, Chance's loss of income has only added more stress to an emotionally difficult situation. Even when Chance does leave the ICU, he will likely need months to a year of rehab, including physical and occupational therapy.
