Tammy Welbes medical expenses

Hi everyone. A group of friends have started a Go Fund me account to help provide some support and love for Tammy Welbes and her family. Tammy has always had a huge heart and has helped so many people through her work and volunteerism. She worked as a social worker through DHS and LSI. She has been a very active member of the Jaycees and all of their projects including Toys for Kids, the July 3rd Fireworks, All that Jazz and so many more. Now she needs some of that good karma to come back for her. Tammy began having significant health issues a couple of years ago. She has had to get specialized care in Madison and that has been very expensive for her family. She has also not been able to work because of her health. Recently, Tammy was diagnosed with COVID-19. Because of her underlying medical issues, Tammy has had so many complications and is currently hospitalized at Finley hospital in Dubuque with Covid related pneumonia. She was put on a ventilator as her condition worsened. We know that Tammy is a fighter and she is going to do everything in her power to get back to her family, friends and community. She will need to continue to get specialized care and support to recover from both the COVID-19 and her autoimmune health problems.
