Help Sick Boy Stay in His Home

Please help Michael Capolongo stay in his home. Michael is a 10 year old little boy who is losing the ability to walk because of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.  Duchenne is the leading fatal genetic childhood disease that affects all of the muscles in the body and the heart.  Boys lose the ability to walk by 12 years old.  
My name is Frank Lettera and have known the Capolongo family for many years.  While I was attending a benefit for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy I realized that this family has raised close to million dollars to fund research.  That day I learned that the Capolongo family needed to retrofit their home to accomodate Michael's deteriorating physical condition.  Michael's future needs include wheelchair accessible access to the home, bedroom, bathroom as well as additional handicap accessible modifications.  At this moment I decided I wanted to help. I contacted my friends at the Staten Island Contractors Association to see if they could help this family who has selflessly helped so many others.  With no hesitation all of the members of the group were willing to help in anyway that they can.  Although alot of services are being donated, additional funding is needed to reassure a timely completion to the project.  You can help make this a reality for Michael.
