Alaska and Albania Summer Missions

We are just a family. A family that God has called to love and serve and go. We live in beautiful Northeast Georgia where we get to work, play and be a part of a really amazing community. Jamie and I are raising 3 young men who are growing to be influencers in their world. Marvin is 23, serves in the Georgia National Guard, works hard in the construction industry and serves every opportunity he gets. Jeremy is 21 and just graduated from N. Greenville University with a degree in Print Media and is serving this summer with Team Effort, a missions organizition leading short term missions. Trey is 16 and is involved in Varsity Football, basketball and loves to just be with people!

This summer Jamie, Gwen, Marvin and Trey have the opportunity to go on 2 different mission trips with River Point Community Church. Jamie and Trey are headed to Alaska along with a team of 26 to work with a boys camp there. They will get to come along side the LaVerne Griffin Camp in Wascilla, AK and work as counselors with the young men who will be attending the camp.

Marvin and Gwen are headed to Albania to work with Campus Crusade for Christ and College students! We will get to teach English in an environment where we will build relationships in order to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ! Albania is primarily a Muslim country but are very welcoming to Americans. Pray for open hearts and opportunities to share the love of Jesus with Albanian college students.

We need to raise $7800 total as a family and need it quickly! We also need prayers! Each trip has a team of folks going from the North Georgia area. Pray for boldness to speak the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Pray for each of us to love with the love of Jesus and to be His witness to the ends of the Earth!
