Hey Family and friends, I know everyone is going through hard times right now but some help and support would be greatly appreciated! Recently my family had to sell our home to pay off debts left by my late grandfather, and my mother, brother, and I have been in and out of motels and Airbnb‘s trying to find somewhere to live. I found an cheap RV which sounded like the perfect solution for us so me and my then boyfriend tried to fix it up but unfortunately it somehow caught fire the day we finally got it running and were ready to leave with it. I barely got out with my dog but lost all my belongings. My phone, my laptop, my wallet, all my clothes and sweaters, my art supplies, my art, and anything that meant something to me. It destroyed any way of me making money from home since I can no longer sell any of my art online and would have no way to create it or to post it. Also due to my mothers poorly managed asthma, I have been helping her care for my special needs brother which is taking away most of my time as it’s basically a full time job, so normal work isn’t much of an option. To top everything off we all have been diagnosed with COVID-19 in the past week and I’ve been struggling with that as well, my moms currently hospitalized due to pneumonia and complications from corona virus and it’s really taking a toll on her. I’m just trying to help us get back on our feet. I know everyone’s struggling right now and it’s a terrible time of year to ask for this kind of thing but I’ve run out of options and have nowhere else to go. Some warm clothes, new socks,underwear, and a phone to stay in contact with my family and possibly open up some opportunities for part time employment would be amazing and so deeply appreciated, I wasn’t sure how much of an amount to put and I feel guilty for even asking but honestly anything would help and would be a lifesaver, even if you can’t donate sharing would be super helpful and appreciated very much.
